for aprillia rite u ask tzr...he used to own one lor... but u can do the basics first lah like oil and air jet,bigger carb.if u want u can bore yr block. change to bigger piston. something like tt lor... heehee ask tzr(francis) he should noe more...haahaa or u can ask P.G oso.. :p

yah yah, i heard someone calling my name? hehe aprilia si bo? hehehe, aiyah, aprilia u wanna mod ah? But u must prepare for somethings lor...
1) Eat petrol like FUCK!! Full tank tahan 1 day, 2 days at most...
2) Must tahan to siam TP (if u going for pipe)
3) Got $$.
So mod is standard one lah. Basics are
1) Fuel Jet
2) Reed Valve
3) Sprockets
4) Pipe (Arrow, RS, chamber)
5) Settings
6) drill some holes on your air filter to maximise a little air intake for better pickup.
If u still have $$,
7) Change to Mikuni carbuerator
Change to single ring piston
9) Port your block
10) Splitfire cables and plugs
If u still have $$$$$ dono where to spent,
10) change to carbon fibre fairings/rims.
11) customise your frame by cutting off thos "extra" metal parts, drill holes on your swing arm
12) Change to hydrolic suspensions.
13) Take out meter/lights.
14) Put racing damper.
15) Use steel brake hose for better braking, (ur bike so fast must use better brakings)
16) One seater
17) Maybe get a Pilot Race slick tyres.
1 I think the radiator oso can modify. (4get how liao)
Recommended to pump jet fuel if u have $$, in SG i think Shell XO can liao. 2T can use Castrol A747 premix and Motul 800 premix. Engine oil for aprilia recommended Rock Oil GRO geor oil. SO far only these stuffs i know...
But last advice is... don mod lah, no point. Not racer, mod for what? hahaha original original can tong pang gals can liao.. -

tha modded y2k rs i wuz tokin abt came wif kui-toh milo, boyesen reed valve, mod cdi, steel cables*i think*, tank bracket, mod iu bracket..and tha guy wuz sellin 4 8K..
since u guyz advice agnst buyin modded bikes..i think i'll go 4 a y2k1 rs wif tha rs pipe*if it gets approved*
one more favour, can u guys tell me tha better aprilia specialists in sg.. i noe only one..BRAD..even then i dun even where it'z at..thankz 4 everything..cheers..and keep on rolling... -

Actually hor, I dun expect full details from u want leh, I'm juz curious, that's all lah! Anyway, wat u say it's true, not going 4 racing, no point mod the bike. I agree wif u! Dun worry! Wat I can say is my bike will still be original until I scrap it! Hehehehehe!!! But, excuse me? I say once again hor, my bike no need single sit want lah, not racer mah! But, still a solo rider coz I still dun really like 2 tompang people leh. If it was my stead, that is optional lah! Haha!

Yeah u're right man, orginal original TP friendly can liao. In SG, we ride to reach the destination safe, not race to a destination dangerously. Right Guys?

juz to add on to wat TZR have said mod bike are quite standard 4 the things to change but some things muz take note like
1)be sure that the plug used is suitable in the sense plug usually need to upgrade to colder plug after mod
2)if u increase the input u muz increase the out put or else mod is useless (exhaust).
3)bike is more easy to damage after mod
4)for input u muz make sure the oxygen and fuel muz be optimise (incomplete combustion if too much fuel which can coz faster carbon build up and waste fuel if u can increase the intake manifold it will give greater output)this is something u muz make sure the mechanic do and not simply tell u to change everything but not make sure the amt of fuel to amt of oxygen
5)timing chain,cam shaft,valve,etc muz b in perfect condition and of this not in good condition will result in incorrect timing oof valve opening closing,example timing chain become longer elongation due to tension ,cam on cam shaft wear between cam and follower due to poor lubrication,valve may crack due to heat and the spring closing the valve may not function properly.
and by the way changing triple clutch plate oso help alittle in mod ur bike -

triple clutch plate improve the friction between the plate to minimise slipage
