  i got confused wif these 2 model haha
  hornet is street bike w/o fairing 1 rite?
  nsr125 r is the racing bike rite?

  Hi mate, think u got it wrong..NSR 125 R indeed has 2 versions... one is the normal production one while one is the sports production one... the SP version is kickstart, uses a single ring racing piston, has a seperate CDI for controlling the valve. Different wire hirness. uses pgm3 engine management system. this r the differences i know... not quite sure bout others already.. hope this help. the SP version is commonly known as the 125cc SP.

  Both are classifised under sports bikes. In fact both are of the same model name, NSR125R! NSR125SP is just a trademark name to differiante the two. I cant call it a race bike...race bike can only be found in race tracks...perhaps honda rs125 would be the correct race bike for u. Its a real beau!

  Take note that NSR125R (both the electric start and kick start versons) is an italian bike... and it doesnt come cheap....Currently the rate for motorshops for the normal electric start version is 3+k. The SP version is 4+k. The parts are pretty expensive too.

  Yap, both are italian...the parts are expensive... espically the headlight...cost nearly a whopping $400++ to $500!

  i was considering tt bike initially..cos 2nd hand 2k can get liao...after wat u said..swayed my mind...
  btw..how bout rs125 parts cost rangin from where to where erm lets say a clutch or piston..

  Actually, NSR125 has some of the most expensive parts in class 2B bikes...most expensive headlights..the honour goes to NSR125...aprilia headlight around 200-300+... in fact some NSR125 parts are more expensive than Cagiva Mito.....Italian bikes all come with a hefty price tag....
