Chopper for 2B Recommendation and advices

Hi ! I am considering buying a PHantom 200 or Daystar 125, is the Daystar very underpower compare to the Phantom? Pls comment only when u have actually ridden the two. How about durability, and price on parts? Thank U !!SSSSSSSSSSSS (If U anyhow answer, u will be bitten by a COBRA!!!)

I never ride any of it before but i am going to but Phantom 200 for sure. Somehow feel that Phantom is a better bike compared to Daystar

But Phantom... die die oso better than daystar one... somemore Daystar LOW LOW LOW resale value, u buy at high price, but u wanna sell... still must TIAP $$$!! -
the daystar is a damm heavy bike. therefore handling wise it loses out to phantom.
in terms of power it loses out to phantom cos only 125cc.
its better to get the phantom -
phantom is 150c.c

ahdan....i noe...i tot he was saying tt phantom 125c.c so i tot tt he was refering to the 150c.c bike. tt's all i did not mean any harm.
......200c.c phantom? tt bike no power one... chassis so heavy some more 4 stroke....the bike is nice...but... no power u think youngsters will buy meh?

anyway, does anyone knows where got sell phantom already? doesn't seem to see much on the road. Is it officially on sale already?

ah bang, now all motordiam got sell liaoz....
200 CC i know got sell liaoz, but 150cc one i dunno discon or not, must check with motor diam, check with Looi's or ASP......i also wanna buy a phantom new one.....but dunno how much, u shun bian help me ask also lar...lol
btw, i havent got my 2b, jus saving $$ so i can buy once i got it~

I'm new to this forum and I'd like to say "hello" to all fellow riders.
I'm currently riding the Phantom 200 and so far I'm happy with the bike. It runs well and it is quite fuel efficient. I personally like the sound of its exhaust (1 of the reasons i bot the bike) which is pretty garang. I'm still running in the engine... so i can't give u any top speeds or anything, but it has an "eager" engine.
But being long bike... I'm still taking time to control the turn well...have to find the rite gear and throttle out of the bends for max control. One flaw is tat u have to watch out for rust spots... so u have to spend time to maintain ur baby...especially durning tis rainy season. Good luck in finding ur dream bike.

Well... I got it from Looi's at 7k on the road. Heard you can get it cheaper but I jus couldn't be bothered running to every Motordiam in singapore. As for colours... I got the black n grey one. The other one i liked was the blue/white classic coloured one. There's a red one...but to me quite char bo colour.
Think there should be lots of 200s around now... think the new shipment of bikes is coming in during this time. Try Mah motor if u want...think their shipment comes in early next month. (They quoted me the same price as Looi) They seem to sell out pretty fast. When I got my bike last month...the whole shipment was sold out. These bikes r orso parrallel imported...Boon Siew hasn't got any yet...but soon tho. Anyway the info was helpful.

Besides most 4 stroke choppers in this class come in 125cc. So its up to you. For me... I want unique and stylo too... after i get my class 2 lor...then buy a Harley

I think Phantom 200 is the best value for money, cheap & big engine. Also u can consider Honda shadow 125, Yamaha Dragstar 125, Suzuki Intruder 125. I personally like the Intruder better than the Phantom, V twin piston, but I duno how is the power compare to the Phantom 200, so pick your choice & let me know the outcome if u ever tested the 125cc chopper.Originally posted by Kelvin Yap:Halo...

For 150cc, the pick up got more power than the 200cc one. but doesn't really feel much difference lah. tends to vibrate when you rev to high speed.
As for the 200cc one, its a 4 stroke. so of course not so powerful. but on the other hand, this beautiful burns very clean fuel. helps you save your 2T fuel and also the electric starter is another thing good for crusiers.
the best thing abt the 200cc, is the pipe. damn long and nice looking. and not to forget the sound too.
the price also cheaper than the 150 cc one. -
I have finally end my research and decided to buy a Phantom 200, & I have found out that Bt. Merah Lane 2, the 2nd shop from the road got stock, $6,500 otr, and Southern Motors(oso lane 2) said they have 300 coming end of October, the best part is that u can order metallic silver without the extra cost, they will do for u at $6,500 otr, exclude gst n iu. Universal Motors oso have stock at $6,700 otr (356 Alexandra rd) , Well those who are interested in buying a class 2B chopper, best value for money is the Phantom 200, it can go 130/140km/h, whereas the 125s can only go 100/ 110km/hr, like the daystar125, Intruder, etc.....
