i dunno how to prevent, but i seen got one bike, tink is a aprilla, d whole fairing kena stolen... then d owner call police.... it was at plaza sing, after a mid-night show....
dunno whether is it revenge on dat fellow or he damn suay... -
always park ur bike in a safe and bright place...
however small theft of small parts, scratches as well as damage is something u can't really help much...

install a bike alarm and cover your bike at night....
bikes that are difficult to get to tend not to get things stolen too easily...
and dun park in "ooloo" places.....

when cover your bike ... tie it tight enough so that the theft could not get his hands on your bike so easily ...
