my IU unit been stolen and where is the good location for me to fixed the unit.i heard some bracket can be modified and put at the side of the bike.my bike is v-tech.any good motorshop can recommened to fixed.how much is the bracket to fixed to prevent the suspension beeen stolen

bracket should be abt $10. u tokin abt suspension bracket to protect ur suspension or ur IU bracket?
suspection protector i got frm singaporebike forum. heard no stock. u can chk it out though.
my IU on vtec2 is on the left side. some put centre. felt left side look better.

IU = $80 (LTA selling)

i call LTA they told me the IU unit cost $151 and without bracket and i go motor shop and ask they told me the bracket is $30 IU is 150.so anybody can recommened me any shop which installed the IU and bracket cheap ?

u could try posting in other forums see if anyone is willing to sell their IU.
but must notify IU of the change. -

I checked with my motor diam....
theres 2 kinds of IU unit for motorcycles...
the 6 volt version and the 12volt version...
a 2nd hand 6 volt IU cost $61.40 (includes administration fee)
a 2nd hand 12 volt IU cost $80+ ( includes administration fee)
Must depend on the bike u are riding so that can determine which voltage is suitable.
for my RXK, a 6 volt is suitable... = )
gotta go change mine also.. broke the unit when I crashed out a month back. ahah -

got a guy i know, he own 2 bikes. 1 of the bikes no IU. so he transfer the IU from 1 bike over to the other bike. got 1 time go pass gantry forgot put cashcard, he tot nothing, tio or kang nia.
suddenly got police come knock on his door. -

isn't it faster to spend 1 day going through all the mototiams in sg rather than spend 3-4 days waiting for something to tell u where to look?
