02 Aprilia RS250 part II

yo bros... i know there already a thread on it but its locked...
i'm very much attracted to this bike n read up alot bout it. thinking of buying the 02 spec...
just went down to a bike shop (cannot say or else next time spoilt relations not so nice ) today... ps.. the shop dont sell the bike but offered to help me neogo if i'm int.
previously i had the conception that...
@ the model u see now is the 02 spec(last batch)(the sbk paint job)
@ its full powered as Aprilia big shot came down to neogotiate with LTA..... thus... no cuts were done to this batch
@ the bikes bhp is 62-64 claimed by aprilia... although there are internet sites showing 72-75bhp. i believe it arises from a different mode of calculation as their rvf, cbr, zx4 etc are all about 60. which i guess thats why their rs250 is a bit high as well...
however...
i was told by the chief mech and a friend(funny guy who say the bike can wheelie at high gears wif him on it) of e boss that the 02 spec got two versions... one is the 75bhp n the other the 62bhp version. and if i were to get, must get the full power version... more worth it since if i were to buy the bike i should not sell (lose out a lot plus very good bike but must can tahun...).
that means i was wrong!!! haiz... to think that i wanted to join in n tease pasir gudang....
according to both of them... two shipments arrived, one is from aust, one is from europe(full powered). u cant tell by the eyes which is which... have ot specify to the bike shop if i were to buy..
so.... do u guys think its true...? -

well... see if mr gp wanna challenge a r1 not lor.... think a standard 400 still can say a bit.

But I also found that the RS250 is the last batch for 2002. No more RS250 for 2003. The 2 strokes were axed out slowly. The last to be axed for 250 is aprilia. But its surely a wonderful if you know how to use. RS250 is an extrememly easy bike to ride, great fun to ride on any RS250 from the earlier models to the final models. I really enjoyed my RS250 last time. But the maintenance is also shocking. Better be extra cautious when buying. Not easy to maintain. -
i know... the little brother (although claimed to be more jialet) always makes kana heart attck.. but i really like it lei.... but the lack of power n er... the feeling its not going to last makes me wanna upgrade.
but 2a really dont have much options and the 02 rs250 is simply too delicious to eat..
of course lah... everyone will say get a cheap 2a, tahun 1 yr n get a r1,k1,g1 etc... but one yr actaull is 365days to tahun...

btw which shop do u go?? can u name some of the aprilia shop....is yuh loong motor gd??? cos i wanna buy an aprilia rs 125 there but still thinking whic shop offers gd deal..hope u dun mind ar -

try aoc n see if ppl got wanna sell not, it might be cheaper with more freebees...
otherwise go ideal motors loh. a forum friend just bough a ft y2k for 4.2k. beautiful.... -
personally, i find aprilias ugly.
then again, i find ferraris and lambos ugly too.

The '02 rs125 is a true beauty but i find that the '02 rs250 still lose out in terms of outlook compared to its '95 to '97 models. Just my personal opinion.

hum... i dont get it... the 02 rs125 n rs250 are based on the y2k design... so.. if u find the rs125 nice, shouldnt the rs250 be more stunnig wiht twin exhuat, single seater n matt sliver paint job?

dun go yun loong.....super black shop,,,,,my friend buy gsxr from there,,$2.8k and left less then a year,,no speedo cable,,,,,,front rear tyres are diff,,,,promise to change for him,get bike,,,,,rode for half a year and kept on saying no stock and no time to change tyres for him ,,,,then accident,,,change new headset,,forks and side fairing,,,,,new paint,,,new front mudguard and take it out,,,,,still no speedo cable and never change tyres as promise....took from my friend $1k for those..insurance wanna claim,,,,,then ask my friend to find own lawyer if wan the shop lawyer will have to pay a 500 upfront,,,,KNN,,,,,then friend sell the bike,,,,a year already,still no speedo cable and never change tyres .where to find such swee swee bo chaio zui de hei tian???
