? wat bike to get

Hi, juz pass my 2b now dunno wat bike to buy?
This are my narrowed down selections in order of preference:
1) KTM 200
2) TZM 150
3) NSR 150
The prob is financial, insurance is very high for me, 20+ yrs old only. I ask ard, 1st party 1st hand bike can go up to 3k. For the above 3 bkes its abt 1.7k juz for insurance.
I dunno how to gauge value of 2nd hand bike so can any1 offer any advice on 2nd or 3rd hand. Hoping for a mthly installment of 200bucks or less. -

my advice is get a 2nd hand bike for transport one of those old bike. eg. tzr, lc kia, cg 125... after that when ure abit well off... that u can go get ure show bike either 3 of the above u mention...and if u thinking of KTM 200 for off road usage u better say eunf money for rainy days... if u just wan it to be showbike or glamourous bike.. i guess would be cheaper...Originally posted by towklin:Hi, juz pass my 2b now dunno wat bike to buy?

tzr - $1200 - $1800 rangin from their performance
lc kia- $600 - $800 (excluding coe renewal and engine overhaul which cost ard 350 - 550.) but its one of my best transport bike choice..
cg 125 oso can find below 1k.all insurance 3rd party lol -

I wanted to ask more abt 2nd or 3rd hand KTM, any1 can gif more advice on it. Im reallly interested in Dirt Bikes. -

ure interested in dirt bike huh, for it looks nice? or u love dirt? ktm is nice with short powerful powerband which make the bikes with raw torqy feelin ... if u wan it just for transport and looks... i suggest u go for other model... if u wanna play and u think u'll have enuf money to put aside for maintainence and repairs well by all means... but i have a fren who told me ( i believe him since he have more exp. than me... and is a very exp. rider in dirt.. and oso what he said sound logical.) dun get a great bike when u just enter the dirt world... for inverted fork wont help u to jump high and the powerful torque wont help u to get far....Originally posted by towklin:Hmmmzz... thanks.. i not very well off but not that poor til cannot eat lah. that time i was like kana snook lol... feels like abit tio suan. but then again its logical... so in the end i still give up dirt bike.. though i still like them now lol. if ure really new to dirt world ... and wish to go chiong dirt... i suggest a 2nd WR200 is more than enuf... if u wanna make it more challenging for ureself go chiong dirt with those 200cc fourstroke bike lor... kekek like xr 200 and so on... oh yah by the way do u know tzr engine is oso a being use by one of yamaha dirt bike leh kakaka dual purpose,... cool. -
Pardon me. im trying to purchase a bike that hopefully can last me 2 yrs till i get a class 2. Meanwhile, this bike muz hav looks cos i dun wanna ride a "Lao POk bike" for 2 yrs.
The dirt bike is seductive to me cos i do off road mountain bicycling so i tot of getting something similar. PLus they look so cool. How much a WR200 costs anyway, didn't see any of them in classified.
I think TZR looks very ugly, while TZM is cool and my frens tell me its damn durable too. So I dun noe why is every1 tokking abt TZR and not my preferred TZM ??? -

You want cheap, so many recommend u trz, which is easier to maintain & most of all is cheap and gd buy if u got plan to upgrade. Next time don't comments on certain bike ugly or lousy, cos keep that personal opinion to urself. oi,,,dun insult tzr leh...my first bike was that leh,,,,,gd to handle,,,,,quite cheap for maintaining the bike,but coil always spoilt,,,,,,
speed also have... 
somemore can mod till swee swee leh,,,, remember that durning that time...bike is consider price is ok,,,insurance cheap cheap leh,,,,,but recent years....more ppl get into accident,,,,,due to a few action pack youngsters which rode some sport bikes and just pass license,,,think watch abit movie and see motogp then they think pro themselves.race here and there,,,,chio ppl while on the road,,,then bang,,,insurance claim here and there,, 
,,making all the insurance company prices go up,now its even higher then getting a car insurance for some bikes,,,, 
used to have any rider insurance...now no more...only for certain trade then have.....
my thinking is that if u wan glamour and swee,buy sport bike lor,,,,let insurance company chop chop lor,,,if wan something for transport....wave,kup kia,RXZ,RXK,RXS,TZR,LC kia,vespa and cg125 lor....all this are cheap n nice,just change a few parts and it wil be swee swee liao.insurance also not that high lor,,,,,i also rode RXS on the road,,,,no ppl will say u ugly la,,,just for transport mah,,,,not for GP mah,so why bother on how ppl look at u??? i also got see a chio bu ride a RXK,,,,,,,,hahahahaha,,,swee leh,,but also no ppl say her bike is ugly mah,,,so above all,,,the choice is still yrs to choose between.....or prefer to mod those SP,KR,TZM la,,,,mod like ah beng,ride like ah seng,,,,accident like ah quas......sorry if offended some ppl,,,,,,just my point of view
