Steering cone? Damper

ermm recently i found my SP handlebar like beri shakey. the handlebar becomes beri light, asked some of my friends. suspected to be faulty steering cone( did i spell wrongly ) may i noe how much it cos to fix it? can i juz add a steering damper to counter the light feeling of the handle

Better check your steering cone bearing, maybe broke liao. Did you have any accident before, if yes then go get a check. Might be that liao. If not like what I saw a few bikers do, they lower down their fork. Heard from them is for better handling.

ermm no accident invloved.. my handlebar already lowered liao... will hit mudguard if i brake too hard... i too suspect is the bearing..

There is indeed better handling when you Lower the fork....
But it's not very stable, handle tremble alot more when cornering....
So see what you're going for.... -

change fork oil will only increase ur dampening and rebound onli mah. nothing to do with lowering the forks. when u lower the forks u r actually decreasing the length of ur wheel base.
