BMT tekong schools are very very relax, de food is so good the facility so nice, clean and new. even the goddamn SOC course is so easy, de obstacles are so low. the trainers there are all a bunch of wussies dat couldn be of any use to any unit and became trainers. they know nothing more abt an M16 than it is a burden. its a liability to them... not a weapon.
worse still are the recruits dat complain of the tough life they have in BMTC school in tekong, they have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA wat kind of good life they are leading compared to some mono-intakes.
yes i know... NS enlistment sux ass... i dreaded enlistment too, but once u change your mentality from serve-and-f*ckoff to a maturing process, it isn so bad after all.
dun be a cry baby whining abt wat has to come, grow up and be more mature abt it and learn watever life's experiences it has to offer. -

the soc course isnt easy wat, as in ppl who have tried soc found at other units all find the ones in tekong bmtc significantly higher, as if the contractors somehow got the specifications wrong. unless it has sunk since i was there.....
and the food sucks. of coz, i am using today's standard of army food, hence i say it sucks compared to the food found in other unit cook houses. u wanna compare to when there were army cooks, of coz it taste better. anyway, i find that cookhouses served by ntuc foodfare like in tekong bmtc generally sux big time, the ones served by S'pore Food Ind much much better.
and oso, pls lah, lets not say such bad things bout bmtc instructors. not all of them are bad, just like not all unit specs/officers are kilat. not everybody can go unit, and not everybody who dont are 'rejects'. everybody in the army regardless wat unit wat rank wat post, got their own job to do and if they do it well who can say they are lousy based on wat they do rite?

the point is most NS men dun wanna do their job well, they see it as a waste of their time and an infringement of their freedom.
it's always about me me me.
out of 10 people who go to NS, how many do you know that have said they will keng as much as possible just to avoid doing the tough jobs?
if anyone says they want to work hard in NS, do the best they can, they would be the 1st to be shot down with words like "what's the point" and "siao".

ok abt de food... it is true that BMTC is getting better food even though its from SFI same as other units. i think many ppl can vouch for that.
as for trainers... lets just say you know and i know why they are trainers and not soldiers...
