Pipe

I always see ppl posting about changing n modifying their pipes. eg. Kuitoh Milo, arrow.... But i stil quite blur about the pipes ... issit only sports bikes like SP or aprilia can modify pipes? How about other bikes like scram or chopper? Can they change or modify pipe as well?

any bike in sg after a certain date (law say wan) will be restricted
there are many ways in which a bike can be restricted eg..
1. CDI aka the brain of the bike.
2. Tachometer - after a certain RPM
cannot go up liao.
3. speedo - like PGM4 like that cannot go
more than 180kmh
4. carbs - some carbs got metal plates to
prevent petrol from going in
which means lost of power.
5. exhuast - like the rs125 milo lor.
got metal plates inside the
stomach and the end can to
prevent the air from coming out
smoothly.
the usual restriction for 2 strokers are both in the stomach and the end can whereas in 4 stroker, only the end can is restricted.

actually the sg govt concentrate so much on small bikes for wad,
think they should focus more on restricting big bikes,
the 2 harleys downstairs my house, every morning kpkb, i dun see the govt doing anything to them -

they said although they modded and changed their pipes, the pipes they changed to are made and approved by Harley Davidson that is why it is legal.

HD loud but sounds good, It feels different from other bikes (by right not approved one I think... Dun think screaming eagle is approved right... someone correct me if i wrong).
