is the enrolment required to take the riding theory lessons and test?Originally posted by jacobs:Hi. i got my class 2B and 2A license at CDC, located at UBI. So i'm only able to tell you roughly how much each practical cost. For SSDC, located at Yio chu kang, it should be around the same but at BBDC, located at Bukit Batok, they go by subjects.
At CDC, you have to pass 8 practicals and riding theory test before you can book for the real test by the traffic police testers.
For Prac 1 to 5, its only in the circuit, cheaper at $22++. Prac 5 is an evaluation of the whole circuit's obstacle course.
For Prac 6 to 8, they are on the road, at $32++. You will need to have a provisional driving license which you can get for $25 upon passing the riding theory test($6). Prac 8 is an evaluation of circuit's obstacles and on the road.
Circuit revision available upon completion of prac 4, road revision available upon completion of prac 7. $10 and $20 respectively i think..............
The enrolment fee cost $72++. Let's say you need two trys to pass a prac, that will be $[(20 x 5) x 2]+[(30 x 3) x 2]= $380
Enrolment fee $72
R.t.t $6
Pdl $25
Pracs $380 Haven't add the amount of revision.
Test $35
I would suggest you go SSDC or BBDC, the traffic is lesser on the public roads used to conduct pracs and test. Some drivers see you learning, they can play with you.... may cause you to fail or even worse, accident(touch wood). Enrolment is required, motorcycle not the same as car. Car don't need enrolment oso can take basic and advance theory test. Prac is paid one at a time.Originally posted by wuming78:is the enrolment required to take the riding theory lessons and test?
and prac lessons are paid per lesson rite?
I thought for car, Pdl is not needed for pracs in circuit. But when you are going to pracs on the road then you have to take basic in order to have pdl. I haven't take class 3 but i have pass my basic quite a time ago. If i'm not wrong, the best is to take all circuit pracs, obtain a Pdl, then take road pracs. While taking road pracs, take advance theory. Pdl don't take too early because it only last for six months. So R.t.t. is needed to obtain a pdl, which allows you to take pracs on the road. Same as the purpose of B.t.t.. Right?Originally posted by shan_cai:U mean e RTT no need 2 take 1st huh? I tot u muz pass e RTT in order 2 b able 2 bk e pracs... Like class 3.
that's right. because prac 1 to 5 is in circuit, you don't need to have pdl (and therefore don't need to pass rtt yet). in addition, you'll need to attend lessons, which are quite boring and redundant, as well as pass the school's rtt before you go for tp's rtt... like prelims and o levels... if not wrong, total 4/5 lessons then you can take the centre's rtt liao...Originally posted by jacobs:I thought for car, Pdl is not needed for pracs in circuit.
