Some crazy idea to change the colour of a bike

  I am think about this crazy idea . Imagine you just bought a cheap but old model Super 4, but you don't like the colour and you don't like the idea of spraying new paint. So? Go buy a new set of mudguard, rear fairing and fuel tank of the latest model with the colour you like and fit it into you old bike... your old bike become new!
  
  Now, will it work? Also, will the price kill you?

  hmmmmmmm super 4 respray costs $340-350 rite?

  the tail fairing mounts differ from the old and new models. even the tail lights themselves r not interchangable with some models.
  anyway do you actually knw how much is costs to buy these items? guess not or you wldnt hav suggested it...

  the cost of a new fuel tank would be more than enough for a respray. twice!
