Hi all!~ I'm new here and not even a biker (yet). I'm taking my 2B license now at SSDC. Finished the theory, the RTT and now going to take my very first prac.
Could anyone here give me any tips on passing the 1st prac as I heard that many people fail on the 1st prac and usually they would have to retake 2-3 times before finally passing. I have a limited budget a month and if I'm gonna get stuck using up my $$ for the 1st prac then sianz!
Any lao jiaos or just anyone willing to share a tip or two? Thanks in advance!~ -
Keep you balance, dnt fall, always check blind spot b4 changing lane. check back b4 moving off. dnt overtake. dnt rev. dnt speed. dnt corner. dnt wear ah beng helmet or clothings.

Wow thanks for the advice. I'm curious though, usually when people fail their 1st prac, which part were the stuck at or do wrongly?

i tink basically 1st practical is all about learning how to move off n change gears smoothly. you dnt do much but ride around in circles around the circuit. you will do minor things like changing lanes n stopping at stop signs.
mistakes people do is as i said b4 is to fall down., not knwing how to operate your bike properly. not giving way to traffic or pedestrians... y knw the rest from my 1st post. -
Ermm..... prac 1 would require you to stop in a stipulated distance, long and short. It's more on changing gears, stopping and moving off. How you move off without jerking and stalling of engine. i.e. your clutch release too fast or throttle too little. And stopping in the right gear ( gear 1 ). Don't pull stunts... just some points i can remember.

just relax, the more u wanna clear the lesson, the higher chance you'll come back. just concentrate on getting the basics right and don't think so far like whether you're gonna go to the next practical.

hello friend.....for me last time take the prac during the Poly days so also cannot spend too much on learning bike....
for first lesson me go 4 times.....think i really F##ked up skill 4 times than pass.... hoping the future lesson me can do better but..... nope from 1 to 8 me average took 3 times to pass each lesson...
...not afriad to tell u me spend abt $800++ to get my license...haiz.... but what i learn is that slow and steady win the race..... Me only take one time TP and PASS.... and only got 8 demerit points.... 
so one advice just do ur best and listen to instrutors words they are the tips...

Wahz I'm damn surprised to see a significant amount of replies to a boring topic. Everyone's tips and pointers are greatly appreciated.
Having no experience riding a motorbike before, (except bicycle) I might have some difficulty getting through Prac 1 but I'll do my best. Thanks everyone for your input and hopefully I'll continue receiving advice from the bikers here as I progress towards getting my 2B.
