Got class 2A/2 License but go for 2B bikes?

hi guys... have u wondered how much higher it costs to maintain a class 2A/2 bike, meaning higher road taxes, insurances, petrol, engine oils, blah blah blah?
-a bigger bike wil use more 4T engine oil that means one time must buy more than 2or3 bottles, averaging more than $50 per change...
-large petrol tank needs to pump more, more petrol doesnt give u more mileage btw..
although bigger bikes brings u more SPEED n POWER, moreover u feel more proud of urself owning a 2A/2 bike, but if u had only used a bike for transport, u would be spending double that of a 2B bike which at most makes u late for appointments 10 min late!
that is y u find ahpeks or uncles riding RXKs RXZs GN vespas, etc... they oredi got class2 license for decades but they stil prefer a economical ride...
anyway i not pinpointing that big bikes r no gd, jus wanna hear some views on it...
there is a majority or minority i dunno, who wil stick to 2B n maybe get a car license or wat... well for me, i tink i wil sure carry on to get class2

well...u r rite,,,i have a RVF and i also have a RXS115,,,,,becos of my work place is far,,,at boon lay,,,and i stay around hougang,,,u cannot expect me ride rxs go till there,,,,backside also got fire la,,,hahahahahaha,,,,,but after working hours i dun normally ride my rvf out,,,dun waste petrol ;P
unless got those far places to go then i will ride my RVF if not,,,,then i always ride my rxs go around local area,,easier to maintain and save money on petrol
sg now is price of things is getting higer but our pay is getting lower,,die la,,,,,,how to buy house? hahahahahaha,,,lan lan -
when young like to chiong.. so all get powerful bikes.. wait older liaoz want to save money.. gradually change to smaller bikes.. this is just a cycle most bikers go thru..

well i guess it the passion, joy & satifaction u get frm obtaining the different lic n oso the different thrills u get for different class of bikes u ride but u only lived once so mayb u can try all the class n try the different feelings each class giv u but i believe it time being coz i guess after awhile u will switch to sumtime more economical rite? but wadever pls ride safe!!

Hey, about ure topic... well i have to agree with silver... anyway things are like that lor... if your wanna enjoy u must learn to accept... look at me i love 2 stroke... spent more than 10k on most of my bikes but on the other hands i have to accept the fact that... riding such bike will have to be look down by some big bikers... and oso have to accept the fact that i have a very expensive hobby.

actually alot of ah pek got class 2 is becoz last time only got 1 class, then when become 3 tier style, the ah peks auto become class 2.
my father license oso but he dunno how to ride big bike one, actually even small bike he oso forgot how to ride liaoz
but actually, some 2a bikes are actually more economical than some 2b bikes.

Heard ppl saide that b4 also, especially when travel longer distance. 4-stroke may be more economical. Theorically, the way 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines work already tell us which uses more fuel, and more powerful. ermm does a 400cc eats more petrol den a 150cc? its doesnt seems like eh.. maybe its the same. but 4 stroke and 2 stroke i think 2 stroke more petrol comsumption.. ppl always tot big bikes eat more petrol..maybe yes. i might be wrong but i personally find tat.. 150cc eats petrol and 2T... 400cc eats petrol but 400cc maintance higher....

Erm alan... for ure questions... actually as long as any engine are healthy and their settin are fine.... they will not waste petrol... and in terms of fuel comsumption a four stroke of a same cc of a two stroke will comfirm save more fuel... cos it takes four strokes to create a combustion internally while a two stroke uses two stroke to create a combustions...sp u see the difference here?... and for power output btw four strokes and two strokes of the same engine cc... at the moment engineers are still unable to make a four strokes engine to produce the same power output as the two stroke engines of the same cc...though i love two stroke engine...alot... but i believe in years to come... they will improve 4 stroke technology....but i still think its a waste to phrase off 2 strokes engine world wide...as its an almost near to perfect engine technology of the older days... SiGh
