hi guys!
i realised that my fuel consumption raised to about 225km per 9L compared to last time 240km per 9L.....
last time i used to turn off the fueltap whenever i park, but now i heck care liao...does this lead to wastage of petrol??
another point is that, after i went for carb, valve, block n piston servicing, my fuel consumption also increased liao leh..
this 2 points that i mention may be the factors that affect fuel consumption, but i not sure which one leh...
do u guys know about how to save petrol?

You might have to check with the mech did he do anything to you idling timing or the valve timing...som itchy backside mech will...like HKL...

have you been pushing your bike harder lately? after "lun-ning" for the whole run-in period, perhaps you push the bike a little higher, leading to higher consumption.. normal also leh...

FYI guys, mine is a second hand bike, i never run in leh..
actualli is i realised after i went for full service, fuel consumption increased liao..i tink like wat ah huat said, might be the settings to my carburetor or wat....
i wil go check the next time round thanks
