Don't be stingy on helmet. Your head doesn't come with a price tag and you can't buy a replacement head should you crack your current one.
Get a helmet that provides good protection, touch wood, it might save your life some day.
I beg to differ. I have an open face Zeus helmet with Sisir sticker on it, got it for free when I bought my bike. That helmet won't be able to withstand heavy impact during a serious accident.Originally posted by skeujin:got the sisir sticker can liao. dress appropriatly to yr riding style bt nvr 4gt tt others can cause u to get into accidents too...
yah...but wad happens if one day buang..den body gones...left the head in the helmet??Originally posted by SnailRider:Just a suggestion...

We can always buy other protective gears, like jacket with body armor, riding boots, kevlar pants, kevlar gloves, etc.Originally posted by aHGer^83:yah...but wad happens if one day buang..den body gones...left the head in the helmet??
in european countries or australia, the riders there do just that...Originally posted by SnailRider:We can always buy other protective gears, like jacket with body armor, riding boots, kevlar pants, kevlar gloves, etc.
But most of us don't grow money on our backyard (a lot of us don't even have a backyard).
So we have to prioritize. Personally, I'll prioritize on a good helmet. Then the rest will follow, provided I have the money.
to me the sticker is just there so that i wun get in troubleOriginally posted by SnailRider:I beg to differ. I have an open face Zeus helmet with Sisir sticker on it, got it for free when I bought my bike. That helmet won't be able to withstand heavy impact during a serious accident.
Well, I never rely on Sisir standard anyway. My current Nolan doesn't have Sisir sticker, but I bet it can withstand an impact 2-3 times stronger than what it takes to crack my Zeus. Have no intention to prove my claim, though.
