RaceTrack Homebase

Dear frens... as u can all clearly see, Racetrack is having a bit of an internal conflict.
dis is just my little suggestion that might help make things workout.
i suggest Racetrack adopt a Homebase... yes a Homebase, where we will always gather before any outing. This homebase will be fixed and be made known to all so dat everybody coming for a small gathering or a big outing can meet up. it can also help to bridge the gap between the so-called xinjiao and laojiao.
Dun get the wrong idea... i'm not saying we should claim territory like some gangster triad, i mean we should dedicate a meeting place as our symbol... a place we can call our homebase just for meetings, our regular place.
Something like how StormRiders claim the coffeeshop outside Canto as their StormRider's Nest... get the picture?
How about it folks? A place dat is open at night, enough bike parking space, centrally located, drinks available and cheap, and a good view of our bikes and whoever joins us. Suggestions? -

homebase thing doesnt sounds good. if everyone starts to know about racetrack homebase. soon ppl will regard it as motorsiao gang liao.. you guys might not be ahbeng or bad guys in character but u juz need a single one to look like one and the whole group will be regard as ahbeng clan.

good and bad.
good: saves time to decide on where to mit. every outing mit same place makes easier for organiser.. jus notify the rest on time to mit can liaoz. identify somewhere we can call our "HOME". sense of belonging??
bad: slowly ppl wil recognise u guys at same place,wan to find trouble aso easy for them. encourages wasting time rotting at homegrown while slowing tinkin of where to go next.cos most ppl wil say "aiya mit there den say lor." -

I agree with snowball, coz it will be more organise and everyone will tend to be on time as it's a fixed place liao. We can just meet at a fixed place then from there move off so it's like a meeting place instead of owning the place which will cause problems in future lor. so any suggestion on where it will be?? And when is the next official outing??

marina south archade i think is a very bad ideal , if u all dare to park ur bike there , congrats to u ! dont be suprised to have ur bike on de ground or have ppl disturding u when u get on de road

If u all really want to have somewhere to call ur own then do not suggest places like marina south or kfc coz u will never have peace in this 2 places from ppl like ah bengs and police. my suggestion is that u guys choose a place that is more isolated less popular and more quiet thats the point anyway rite to get a place where u can sit down and talk. u dont need to have a crowded place to do it.

things to say..
having a home ground is not a bad idea.
i would suggest a few places later in this msg. this place gotta be accessible but at the same time in the central area so that ppl can meet. eg. cannot be in Changi V.
Ricky: how may i ask is a home ground going to bridge the gap of all this conflicts?
or rather ask urslves, what is the coz of all this mess ?
can't decide on certain issues ?

may i suggest the following areas:
1. Msq 7-11.
can sit down and get some drinks while
waiting fer others. accessible too.
2. Meridian 24h kopi tiam.
got place to park.
3. pebble bay.
isolated and quiet.
4. Msouth.
isnt a REALLY bad idea lah. but must have
no crowd that time lah.
5. parklane / selegie
