My Gfren is getting a bike next week...but she dunno wat kind of bike to get...At first she plan to get a scrambler, but her parent forbid her to buy scrambler as it is very dangerous...and i also think scrambler not recommended for fresh biker as It take quite sum time to understand a bike as I'm a rider in the past....
I like to seek help fr all the bikers in SG(pros, lao jiao, anyone)
1)Any bike shop recommended? (honest,gd deal,best buy)
2)Any model bike(2B class) for girls to recommend?
Welcome all kind of comments....

HeeHee...thanx....Originally posted by SnailRider:Some ppl might disagree with my personal opinion, but here it goes...
I would recommend a sportbike. Not for its speed (I would be crazy to encourage a beginner to speed), but for its stability and ease of use. A sportbike is inherently designed to be stable at high speed. And if it's stable at high speed, it'll also be stable at low speed. It also has high maneuverability. It can easily take bends, corners, u-turns, straights, well... you name it. It doesn't handle bumps and potholes as well as a scram does, but luckily Singapore roads don't have a lot of them.
Having said all that... I could have been biased, because I don't have enuff experience with scramblers, cruisers, scooters, and other types of bike to make good comparison. So in the end I guess your GF herself must make the decision, which type of bike she likes the most, and suits her riding style the most. Did you say she was going to get the bike next week? It's been more than a week since your 1st posting, so it might be too late for me to babble in this thread... oh well...
Err hi friend, first of all congrats to yoru gf who has got her licence. My gf also riding a SP for few months already. So maybe i can advice on your questions.Originally posted by brownkai:Hello people....wat a hot weather this few days...

Yah true Loois caters more for class 2 bikes. But i also agree they charge their customers higher than outside rate. But i would say "One cent money, One cent goods". I don't really mind pating a little as long as they pay back good services.Originally posted by sportster1200:yo dun be deceived by apperance...where do u think looi get money to make its place look nice??

Bike production. Good price, bad after service.Originally posted by TZR:Regarding about which bikeshop which is resonable, i don't really think there are much reasonable shops in SG. But i can reccommend "Bike Production" at one of the AMK Industrial Park. Altough my bikeshop is not from there, but i heard quite a number of friends bought their machines there at quite good price.
