Most likely your 2T oil consumption is too high. Have you ever measured your 2T consumption? Do you see a lot of white smoke coming out your exhaust, even when the engine has reached normal running temperature?Originally posted by yinjie:hello anyone know why my sp spit watery black oil from the maffler???
you mean the nsrsp150 or the picture above?Originally posted by gal gal:this bike is for what class? nice.
no leaking anywhere and the spark plug tip is white in color only the plug's screw thread area got black oil... no problem with bike... good start good idling, no premix... everything normal but donno if the engine is stock or not...Originally posted by tHoMiE:ermmm .... i guess having the black oil stuff ( BOS ) at the muffer is better then having it at the spark plug. ...
some of the reasons..
imcompete combustion ... leading to excess mixture leftover in pipe..
rain water --- mix with 2t oil ... and carbon to become BOS
improper tunning / modification .. leading to a too rich mixture that may not be combust fully
is yr bike stock ... is the valve working in good condition ... is there leaking at other places ... any other problems ... starting .. over heating .. etc ... does the BOS smells of petrol ... are you running premix ... 2t pump set correctly ...
what is the color of yr spark plug ...
you can sms my fren .. he does good tunning for scrambler .. dunno if he 12 do SP or not ... 93658648 ... a freelance ... with very good 2 stroke knowledge
