This course structure is based on a few years back when I am still learning at BBDC and i do know that you got to watch a video on accidents now before you start but I suppose that is under Orientation contents.
For topic starter : Since you said that you just had your 1st practical ... I assume you are just at subject 1 . Learning how to turn will be on the 2nd subject where you will keep turning for the one whole session. 1st subject is also known as the BANG TYRE SESSION where you will move your motorcycle front and back and if you don't stop in time, the front tyre will hit the tyres hanging. This is to let you understand more on bike. Some notes on my Training Record Book that my instructor wrote for me :
Subject 8
1) reviews skill course : Take note of pylon slalom and E brake
2) Review riding in observance of traffic rules : Take note of lane change, right turn and blind spots
Subject 9 confirm pass subject and after you pass your subject 10, you are able to book for self practice. Do book for more self practic to gain confidence and it's real fun riding in the circuit without any instructor to scold you or whatsoever and you can disturb them by going over to any instructor and keep asking stupid questions or use your footrest to strike the road while cornering in S course *haha*
Ops I forget you still in subject 1 ... anyway ... it's fun to ride a bike
