Stargazer site update

Blu Duel
"A unit developed by Actaeon Industries based on the GAT-X102 Duel. Its back is equipped with large thrusters and is enhanced with exceptional mobility and armor. Excels in close-quarters combat with weapons concealed inside its shoulder armor, arms, and underside of its shield. Further, in contrast to the Assault Shroud on ZAFT's original Duel, the Blu Duel's reinforced armored entire body has PS armor."
Verde Buster
"A unit developed by Actaeon Industries based on the GAT-X103 Buster. The cannons that were on its hips were moved to the shoulders so the hips were equipped with newly developed beam cannons. With the increase in firepower, reinforced armor, and its bayonettes, it's close-combat ability has been upped considerably."

Store pamphlets indicate the 3rd SEED DESTINY Special Edition will air sometime in November.

I expected the Arch Angel to fire its Lohengrin in Seed Destiny, but that did not happen, a little disappointment.
The Minerva fired the Tannhauser at the Arch Angel during 'Operation Angel Down', so I fully expected it to retaliate. However, I did catch a glimpse when in Seed, the Dominion fired the Lohengrin, but I did not see the part where they start firing at each other and when Mu La Flaga blocks the Dominion's blast.
The Lohengrin seems to be my favourite weapon in the series, as I am not interested in the Genesis and successors, neither the Tannhauser, as it seemingly gets destroyed by the Freedom everytime it fires... -

Yeah, agree.
But my friend explained that Murrue Ramius did not want to kill anyone in particular, she knows the strength of the Lohengrin, so she did not order it, although she did throw all the weapons out in the fight between Arch Angel and Minerva. -

Alliance Vs. ZAFT II Plus
News from 2ch is that Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny: Alliance Vs. ZAFT II Plus is coming to the PS2 on December 7th. Features Plus Mode (the greatest missions from CE history), Challenge Mode, and Gallery Mode. Net play is not supported.

New SEED + Destiny music compilation
Victor Entertainment Animation Network put up a page for "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED ~ SEED Destiny: The Bridge, Across The Songs From Gundam SEED & SEED Destiny". As the title implies, it's a collection of theme, insert, and character songs from the two shows. Price is 4,200 yen, release date is November 22. -
G Festival UPDATED
Impress Watch has a report on G Festival, which took place this past Saturday. For the First Gundam event, Toru Furuya, Shuichi Ikeda, and Keiko Han appeared as guests for a talkshow. Besides the talkshow, the process of digitizing the original TV series was shown. For the SEED DESTINY and Stargazer event, Akira Ishida, Soichiro Hoshi, Kenichi Suzumura, Maaya Sakamoto, Fumiko Orikasa, Toshikhoko Seki, Daisuke Ono, Jun Fukuyama, and Lina Sato appeared as guests. The guests were divided up teams and had a quiz battle where the top team won the MSG TV Boxset. Footages of Gundam Evolve../Ù, and new footage for SEED DESTINY Special Editon 4 were shown. The festival ended with live performance by FictionJunction YUUKA.
UPDATED - According to those who attended the festival, the footage shown for the last Special Edition "Cost of Freedom" was an edited version of last part of Final Plus showing Kira in white ZAFT uniform, Athrun in White ORB uniform and Shinn in the red ZAFT uniform as Lacus enters the PLANT Council.

High And Mighty Color for Destiny SE III ED
Sony Music Online Japan formally announces High And Mighty Color's new single "Enrai ~ Tooku Ni Aru Akari" ("Distant Thunder ~ Distant Light") as the ED theme for the 3rd SEED Destiny Special Edition. It comes out on October 25.

Destiny SE III airdates
Sunrise confirms the broadcast of the 3rd Destiny Special Edition:
Kantou district TBS: October 8 (late night) 2:20 am ~ 4:10 am
Kansai district MBS: October 8 (late night) 1:30 am ~ 3:20 am
This time, the SE will be broadcast in its entirety in one airing rather than the usual two parts on separate days.

Meer for Alliance Vs. ZAFT II
Gpara.com and Game Watch report on the appearance of the Zaku Warrior Live Concert version as a playable unit in the arcade Alliance Vs. ZAFT II starting today. The MS appeared as an enemy unit last month but is now enabled for players, complete with Meer Campbell in the role of operator.

Alliance Vs. ZAFT II Plus' P.L.U.S. mode
Famitsu.com put up a page with details about the game's P.L.U.S. mode: Playing as Shinn, you cooperate with and face off against various characters. In addition to following the anime's storyline, there are game original missions. When choosing characters, the indicator on the upper part of the screen shows missions related to that character. If you decide on a mission, you also choose a character & unit to fly together with. At first, only Lunamaria is selectable as a partner but clearing her mission unlocks Rey and completing more missions makes more characters available and meeting mission parameters unlocks further mobile suits.

Victor Entertainment put up pics of the first-run items that come with the double album: a box with Hisashi Hirai illustrations, 150-page hardcover booklet, and reproductions of the Suit CD jackets. Additionally, songs recorded for the first time on this release are FictionJunction Yuuka's "Akatsuki No Kuruma piano supplement version", See-Saw's "Anna Ni Issho Datta No Ni 2006", Shinn Asuka's "Primal Innocence ~Bridge Version", and the original sound effect track "Memory".
