SEED Destiny new trailer
At Chara Hobby 2004 this weekend, at the same time they'll be announcing the cast for the new series, Sunrise's site says that a new promotion vid entitled "First Attack" will be shown. ¶ 1:03 AM
CGO on SEED Destiny
And according to an interview with Kazunori Ueno, the Chief Gundam Officer, in a special edition of Nikkei Characters! entitled "Adult's Gundam", SEED MSV mecha will be appearing in SEED Destiny. He also seems to imply that the show is aimed at elementary school students which, incidentally, was the stated target audience of SEED according to a Bandai press release from that time. ¶ 7:05 AM
SEED Destiny ED tidbit
According to a scan on the Char-Custom blog, Nami Tamaki's ending theme for SEED Destiny is scheduled to air from October to December, which would cover about the first 13 episodes. The song is still yet-to-be titled. ¶ 6:51 AM

SEED DESTINY Astray info
Scans from The Sneaker revealed info on SEED DESTINY Astray. Once again the same people who worked on the previous Astray series will return. Fans can follow Destiny Astray in 3 formats: The manga version appearing in Gundam Ace drawn by Koichi Tokita, the novel version appearing in The Sneaker, and the photo story version appearing in Dengeki Hobby Magazine. Tomohiro Chiba will be in charge of the story/scenario, Junichi Akutsu (BEECRAFT) as the mechanical designer, Yoichi Ueda as the character designer, and Tsuyoshi Ogata as the illustrator for the novel version.
The Junk Guild's Lowe and Serpent Tail's Gai will reappear along with the new main character, Jess Libre, and his unnamed partner. A new "civilian-use" Astray MS will appear based on this scan. ¶ 12:25 AM

According to reports on Animage posted on 2ch's ongoing SEED DESTINY netabare threads, the first episode will be titled "Okoreru Hitomi" ("Angry Eyes" or "Eyes That Get Angry"). Other staff credits...

The Junius Treaty was signed in the first half of C.E. 72 at the place where Junius Seven once stood onboard an Earth Alliance battleship. There, ZAFT built a monument to the treaty. The details of the treaty itself state that both sides were to ban the use of Neutron Jammer Cancellers and the Mirage Colloid. Both sides also agreed to set a quota restraint on the size of their MS forces. Despite that, the two continued to research and develop new weapons due to the lingering bitterness between them. Because of the MS force limit, an emphasis on quality rather than quantity came about, leading to more advanced MS.
And this month's Newtype had the following descriptions of Destiny characters:
Neo Roanoke - An Earth Alliance captain. He commands the special forces group that Stellar's team belongs to. He's deeply trusted by subordinates.
Lord Jibril - Blue Cosmos' new leader. Through his power, the organization has made a comeback in might. He plans the extermination of Coordinators. Seiyuu: Hideyuki Hori (George Glen from Gundam SEED, Scwartz + Kyoji from G Gundam)

Kira, Lacus, and Miriallia appear in the OP, but that doesn't necessarily mean they will appear in the series. (Similar to Amuro and Char appearing in the ZZ OP).
- Dearka and Yzak?
No comment.
- Characteristics of Luna and Shin?
The relationship between Luna and Shin is more like mother-in-law and son than sister and brother. For instance, Luna always gets on about Shin's dress code. Although Shin has a dark past, he doesn't get down on himself like Athrun.
- About Rey Za Barrel?
He's a leader and roommate of Shin's. Cool and meticulous as well.
