Freedom Returns?
According to Amiami Trading Card & Hobby's solicitation for the Freedom Gundam MSiA, the Freedom will appear in DESTINY starting "from around the beginning of the 2nd coul", which would be from episode 14 onward.
This is contrary to a previous item that appeared in issue 44 of Weekly The Television magazine, in which an anonymous production staff member was quoted as saying, "Since Freedom was flying above when the stray bullets killed Shinn's family, there's a possibility of Shinn hating the Freedom. But the OP is only an image. Rebuilding a seriously-damaged Freedom is unrealistic." -

DESTINY council members
The latest issue of Newtype contained some info about the Plant Council's make-up in the current series. In C.E. 70, the Plant Council's radical faction, who were the driving force for war, and the moderate faction, who advocated peace, clashed. In C.E. 73, the council is made up of eight new members and four old ones. Of the old members, three are from the moderate or neutral factions and one from the radical. It's unknown whether Ezalia Joule, Yuri Amalfi, and Tad Elsman didn't run for election again or if they all lost a re-election bid but they're absent.

DESTINY 2nd OP?
Sony Music Shop now has a listing for a song titled "Pride" by a new group called High And Mighty Color. They're described as having twin vocals (one male, one female), twin guitars, and a "hard pop sound". While not explicitly stated to be the new opening for the show, some signs point to this: the single comes with a Neo Lorrnoke character ID card, an Impulse vs. Gaia double jacket, and the release date (January 26th, after the 14th episode airs) is about right. UMF/SSO-3 Asshu - Amphibious variable ZAFT MS. Used by the forces attacking Lacus in episode 13. Both hands have combat-use claws and machine guns, missle pods and beam cannons are on both shoulders, and both feet are equipped with combat-use claws.
Zamzazar - Earth Alliance underwater MA. Has a giant body of unique shape. 3 people are used to fly it (one for the main section, one for the claws, and one gunner). The limbs have combat-use claws and cannons and in the head is a positron reflector, which can deflect a battleship's positron cannons.
Dagger L with AQM/E-A4E1 Jet Striker - MS-use Striker pack developed by the Earth Alliance for atmospheric air battles. Consisting of a dual propulsion apparatus, both wings have beam cannons and missles, rockets and other things can be latched on. A unit for mass-production machines, it's also possible for the Windam to use.
Murasame - Orb's newest mass-production MS. Transforms into a flight form.

Nishikawa to voice new DESTINY character UPDATED
Sunrise officially announced that T.M. Revolution's Takanori Nishikawa is voicing the new character Heine Westenfluss (my best guess at an English spelling for the name, don't take it as gospel). The character is an elite pilot belonging to Athrun's Faith and uses the "Gouf Ignited".
Edit: A further explanation for the spelling, as I see it. The name seems to be German in origin, ハイネ being "Heine". But that's not the interesting thing. His last name seems to be the combination of two separate German words, ヴェステン (westen), and フルス (fluss). And, in German, "westen" means "west" and "fluss" means "river". Why is that interesting? Because that's exactly what the two kanji in 西川 (nishikawa) mean in Japanese as well, "west" + "river". Thanks to this Japanese-German site for helping make that connection. ¶ 7:13 PM
