[b]"Before this, people have been telling me that one end of the underpass, the one leading to the sea, will always be dark, no matter what time is it or how good the lights are. ItÂ’s TRUE!! "
"I wanted to get back to East Coast Park but half way through the underpass, I noticed a long and hollow square tube in the ceiling. If I’m not wrong, it indicates the central divider of the highway above. It is very dark and my first reaction was, “Wah! Surely got ghost inside.”
See it for yourself...and note the scratch marks on the wall...

Yah I heard of the SAJC tunnel too...maybe the tunnels are linked to each other?Originally posted by MooKu:One of the tunnels leading to Labrador Park can be found in St Andrew's Junior College. I've never seen it for myself though, just heard it from a friend studying there. She mentioned that the end of the tunnel is blocked.
Huh... Is SAJC THAT old...? I'm not sure. Maybe I'll ask my friend about it.Originally posted by PaJeRoMiNi Ver 1.0:Yah I heard of the SAJC tunnel too...maybe the tunnels are linked to each other?
Anyway, was SAJC used in WW2? As a military installation?
If not, why are there tunnels linked to SAJC?
Hmm...dunno...cos I also heard this..Originally posted by MooKu:Huh... Is SAJC THAT old...? I'm not sure. Maybe I'll ask my friend about it.
How does the tunnel look like? She mentioned it was just beside the canteen
Hmmm.Originally posted by PaJeRoMiNi Ver 1.0:Hmm...dunno...cos I also heard this..
Seems like a student managd to enter the tunnel and explored it...after walking inside it for a while...he saw an exit, came out and found himself in Sentosa...
Dunno how true that is
Hmm....i think the exhumation was not because of the NEL...Originally posted by wuming78:wah lao... all the stories abt haunted stations... ignorance is realli bliss man! how i wish i haven read wat u posted!
i would guess there wud be more when the NEL opens, especially the part of the line in serangoon that cuts through the rather big cemetery there. hm... the exhumation of the graves there being done and has been done.. its not due to the mrt line rite?
Something like Novena...Originally posted by tranquilice:The NEL tunnels that leads from Woodleigh station is just beside the Bidadari cementaries.
i think it got something to do with a very big old building jus beside SAJC..... its located on top of a small hill.......Originally posted by PaJeRoMiNi Ver 1.0:Yah I heard of the SAJC tunnel too...maybe the tunnels are linked to each other?

I believe it's because the tunnels are below the seabed...Originally posted by SingaporeTyrannosaur:I think the govt. sealed off the tunnels for safety reasons some time back. They do lead to sentosa, use by them brits.
em.....true but have u ever wonder...... below seabed......how deep izzit.....Originally posted by PaJeRoMiNi Ver 1.0:I believe it's because the tunnels are below the seabed...
so many years have passed..it may not be safe to use the tunnels anymore...may collaspe anytime...
Otherwise it would have been made into a tourist attraction liaozzz
i dunno abt novena.. but i always alight at toa payoh late at nite cuz my church is in tampines. then meetings end late. so tada. but nth leh... roflOriginally posted by PaJeRoMiNi Ver 1.0:More about the MRT apparitions..
"It is believed that certain MRT stations are haunted. People in trains, mostly last trains stopping at these stations, report seeing headless apparitions walking down the aisle or hearing loud laughter. Strange noises could sometimes be heard in the MRT stations. MRT stations are located at Bishan, Braddell, Newton, Novena, Toa Payoh, Tanjong Pagar and Jurong East. "
I still can't figure out how tunnels can be built under seabeds. It's kind of amazing to me... hahahahaahahaha I mean, the sea is so so deep and how'd they manage to build tunnels underneath, especially in the past?Originally posted by PaJeRoMiNi Ver 1.0:I believe it's because the tunnels are below the seabed...

I think they drop a piece of rock wttached to a rope and let the rock settle to the bottom of the sea..they make a mark at the part where the rope is touching the surface of the water....then they pull the rope up and measure the distance between the rock and the mark they made....this was used to measure the depth of the sea way before sonar devices were invented...Kelongs also use this method to measure the depth of the sea before commencing construction...Originally posted by MooKu:I still can't figure out how tunnels can be built under seabeds.
