What have you guys heard?
Let's post them here to discuss and educate each other

Some of the more famous local ones...
- Thursday Nite... the nite where ghosts are the most active...
- Ghosts are accompanied by a flowery (usually Frangipani or Jasmine) scent..
- Drawing of a white circle while burning of hell notes to ancestors, to prevent non-related spirits from taking away the money..
- Say prayers before relieving oneself in a place other than the toilet.. -

Spirits associated with flowery aroma lingering normally means a "friendly" or a pleasant-"looking" spirit is nearby meaning that u wun be shocked or what.
Spirits associated with foul-smelling and pungent aromaare those hideous and vengeance looking spirits who will make sure u get shocked to your wits.
Spirits with those food-smells are kid/children/baby spirits.. who tend to follow u back home but if u have some scraps of food.. throw it into the air and u will be saved. -

Touching on the issue of food, i have heard one..
When fishermen eat their catch, they only eat from one side of the fish and never turn it over to eat the other side..
That's because flipping the fish over signifies a boat flipping over..
Dunno whether true or not... -

anyway, got things like
canot point at moon
canot take foto of sleeping person
use dog blood on eye can let u c those type of things (?)
dun cut apple in front of mirror in the middle of the night (?) or cut apple skin must be continuous and canot be interrupted (?)
if someone call u from behind dun turn around too fast
dun step over the ashes of the burnt paper money.

one more to add on! heard tt cannot cut nails at nite else 'they' will come find u ..
and if accidentally step on joss sticks or burnt paper .. muz say sorry to them ...
