Strange unnatural growth inside a tomato..

  "This tomato, bought at a local grocery store on 6-15-2003, started to sprout stems and leaves from within itself! My parents are avid gardeners and we've never seen any of our tomatoes do this before! What kind of growth chemicals are they using on these plants?"

  Yup...cos there are leaves and stems sprouting from inside the tomato..
