WITCHES' SPELL ON COWELL FOR OZZY BIKE SLUR Dec 20 2003

POP Idol judge Simon Cowell will be lost for words at the Pop Idol final if a spell by hundreds of Scottish witches works.
The white witches decided to put the spell on Cowell after he claimed Ozzy Osbourne's recent quad bike accident was a publicity stunt.
Ozzy's family contacted the High Priest of British White Witches, Kevin Carlyon, to get revenge.
Mr Carlyon said: ''Cowell has caused a lot of distress to Ozzy's wife Sharon and his family.
''He should suffer in some way and if it means dabbling in the darker side of our witchcraft, then so be it.''
The witches have also called on their powers in a bid to help heal Ozzy, who remains critically ill in a Berkshire hospital.
And Kevin revealed the witches were also using their powers to try and keep Ozzy's single with daughter Kelly at the top of the charts for Christmas thwarting a rival effort by the Pop Idol finalists.
White witch Eileen Webster, of Selkirk, who will take part in the rituals, said Cowell deserved the spell.
She said: ''Our spells are powerful and I know that he will wake up in a few days with a very large frog in his throat.''
Cowell's publicist, Max Clifford, said: ''People have been trying for many years to shut Simon up and nobody has ever come close.''
