Peace Symbol "On July 11, 2004, my wife Julie, Duke, our dog, and I were walking in the National Battlefield Park which is an historic landmark in Marietta, Georgia. We took a path off the beaten trail and by a stream we found this 'peace symbol' growing out of the stream from the roots of a nearby tree
I think it is very interesting that in a National Battlefield Park one would find a peace symbol growing from the ground from which hundreds of Civil War soldiers from both the North and South fell in battle. Were they trying to tell the living something? Are we listening?"
