Hi all.. As of lately, I have been looking at luxury watch replicas online. Did some research and apparently it is a big market with many different grades.
It is hard to determine or segregate against the various qualities, but you can more or less consider between high quality fakes and the poor ones.
In Singapore, apparently those you can find are extremely poor quality and of course sells for as cheap. Usually they aren't solid steel and just be weighing it, without even look at it you can tell.
In terms of the better quality ones, they look 70-99% exactly to the original, depending on exact piece. A great differentiating factor is the movement. There are the Swiss certified chronometers with certificate that goes for about SGD700-1000, and those of the Japanese quartz that are typically SGD100-200.
I understand that China is the best source, but you require a discerning eye to buy a model that resembles. HK also good source, but price higher. M'sia is Singaporean's best bet in finding.
