  tell them if they are kind enough to write you a testimonial, as u might need it to further ur study

  Odd to ask your HR to write. Ask your boss to write one. Best is you write a credible one yourself, dun exaggerate and then ask your boss to sign.

  actually.. I feel that testimonials doesn't do much.. because usually if u dare to show them.. it means that its a good testimonial.. as an employer, I don't think I will bother myself reading the testimonial..

  agree totally. when interviewing, i also dun bother to look at testimonial. only look at the pretty face
