I had Vietnamese Beef Pho for lunch in the city today. Yummy! Went into the city at lunch time as I wanted to get a box of nice chocolate for hubby for our wedding anniversary.

I ate whatever the canteen is serving.. today they had mee rubus, some sort of chicken, a toufu dish and a hotdog with vege ...
oh yah, happy anniversary!!
I am not so familiar with Melb area having been there only once... but I kinda like melbourne.. its rather similar to christchurch ..

Yes, I also love Melbourne (as compared to Sydney). The streets and roads were better designed and organised. Melbourne is not as busy as Sydney.
You should come and visit Melbourne again. Come and visit me and missy rhonda...

My staff canteen food is FOC ...
Food sux.. but can't complain since I don't have to pay for it..

Wow... so lucky to get free lunch. That will definitely save you a lot of money.
I am visiting Singapore next year during CNY so hopefully will get a chance to meet you and the rest of the gang from Club 30.

Definitely save a lot of money ... sometimes IF I'm disciplined enough.. I don't spend any money at all for the whole week!
But having to work at orchard, in the midst of all the shopping is ... not easy.. haha.. when I go walk walk, I tend to buy little things here and there..

It's good to be able to save as much where possible. Cost of living is getting so high in Singapore so you will have to save up for the future. However, it's perfectly ok to spoil yourself from time to time since you work hard for it.
