I agree there are churches that does not preach that. As mentioned in the previous post

City Harvest Church spends 310m on the new church. Yes, it may be a huge sum of money, but what makes it wrong to spend such a sum of money on the new building? For all the other christians out there, we are building the house of God. Is the house of God supposed to be a lousy place? No. Yeah, maybe you'd question, why so much? How about just a normal sum of money? But hey guess what, when we build the house of God we want the house of God to be perfect. You might think there's no reason why it needs to be perfect cause it's just a place to worship God. But hey, it is the HOUSE of God, would you give something with even just a little bit of flaw to God? I think I'll give the best I can. To all the non-christians who say that we should give our funds to the needy, why don't you give as well. Practise what you preach, if you want us to give, why are YOU not giving? And if you didn't know, City Harvest gives more than 1 million a year to the needy.

I found it funny, are you implying smaller churches are not perfect just because their building is not 310m ? What do you mean lousy and perfect then, material needs ? So you mean ''god'' has discrimination now towards the poor ? So can i ask if a poor person can join the church ?
If you really take a look at the previous pages, its not only the non-believers that are making noise. And wait again, what makes you think that the non-believers are not doing charity work.
