Going to church to become rich

I accompanied some people (a mother) this weekend to the Waterloo Street temple and also to one of the mega churches at suntec (her daughter)... and the theme was the same... "become rich through a miracle". At Suntec they call it "MIRACLE SUNDAY".
You give 100, expect 3000, 6000 or 10000 and if you give 1000, expect 30000, 60000 or 100000 and there were very long queues of people putting money into the box just like the recent $10 million TOTO.
OH MY GOD!
What happened to being contented with what you have and find blessing and the happiness in the contentment?

...even if you really get x30 x60 x100 back; it is so incredible and delusional to attribute it to the giving unless it dropped from the sky and a voice tells you that it is payment for your giving..... at the very least it has to be "super natural" like you keep withdrawing from the ATM and it never runs out! Otherwise, no matter how comforting, being a delusional is no way to live is it?

The God whom I trust has never directly given me any money...perhaps because I never asked.....though He did give me an earthquake....ehehheheheheh the ground was moving so much that I almost thought of squatting like everybody else.
I'm trying to impress the Jews so I can migrate to Israel. God help me out of this place. But let Thou will be done according to my plea...please.....lol. Thou are my refuge my strength and my earthquake!

I looked at the super long queues of people putting money into the miracle box and they certainly did not look like people with so little left to eat, they expect to eat their last meal and starve to death.

Furthermore the passage was talking about "flour and oil"... if these people were contented with flour and oil, the church can easily feed every one of them for their lifetime with the $300million spent in joint venture with Temasek to build a new church building.
Really weird how it is this kind of preaching that builds mega churches.
