yes, Pastor Rony did "criticise" other religion. but not only he admitted the mistake, he also apologise to the two religions and the public as well becoz he also want to promote religious harmony.

Did he apologise because he want to maintain religious harmony or did so because of pressure? What if that video wasn't leak out? Would he admit that what he did was wrong or even apologise?

Can you imagine if our govt doesn't implement this? We will be like certain countries where you will be killed for what you believe in. That's a scary thought.

I don't see it an issue. The government wants peace in a country. If they smell any rat or any potential in security being threatened, religious harmony affected, they will play their role as government to step in to put things right. I support them in this.You sound like you heartache like that for the govt.

So far they are doing a good job in keeping religious harmony. Thank goodness, Singapore is secular we have freedom to choose our religions. -

I put the "" sign becoz Pastor Rony wasn't aware of his mistake. I actually will say it is a good thing that he was exposed. It is then when he realised that he is hurting other religions with remarks and has a chance to apologise to non-christians.
Singaporeans generally are not public speaking people, so without the media/police help, singaporeans will just grumbling behind someone's back. And the person will not know his/her mistake, so how is he/her gonna change?
