  i don't get cable in my room... would liked to have watched it again
  
  thinking of splashing out and getting all 4 movies.. the book was only about 95 pages... it was entitled Hellbound Heart

  Only have a short list of horror flicks
  Can either attribute it to my youth or it just isn't one of the genre I spend significant time and money on.
  
  But i remember poltergeist, amityville (is this for real?), exorcist for the classics.
  Ring and Sixth sense for the recent.

  I hate horror movies. It's money down the drain because I watch only about 50% of it, the other 50% my eyes are closed.
  
  As for ghost stories, actually the scarier ones are told to me over the phone, because then my imagination runs havok and after that I can't sleep. Whereas if I focus on the storyteller and content, it's not so scarey.

  when young, i watch it by covering my eye with my hanky. My logic then was that the blurer the image, the less scary it is.

  looked in amazon.com.. the 4 are too expensive.
  
  now looking at Heavy Metal the Movie and Heavy Metal 2000...
  
  wonder if my friend sent out my order for Life of Brian yet? if he hasn't, i'll get these 2 on DVD

  if u treat yr loved one like 7-11, go to them only when you need their help, the relationship won't last long. It seems we need to get our ideas of God from an authoritative source, otherwise He becomes whatever we imagine Him to be. works for a while, but lots of trouble on judgement day

  What is it about horror flicks that you like? Is it :
  
  1. blood and gore
  2. sudden BOO! type of scare/shock
  3. whole eerie atmosphere/music
  4. japanese perverse brand of horror
  
  Btw I heard House of a 1000 Corpses (correct name?) is scarey in #1 style. Now showing in cinemas.
