As for colourless ones, how do they differ from diamonds?
Well, de beers made their fortune from gemstones and not surprising that slaves were their machines at low cost (no such thing as employees welfare or insurance schemes for that matter). As PM said, u gotta be more competitive by lowering wage costÂ….. Out of one thousand female buyers, how many actually thought of the process and history of it?

oh, colourless sapphires look like diamonds... reflective index is about the same, 2nd in hardness among gems only to the diamond...
look up the internet.. there are sites which sell loose stones.. the only place i know selling loose sapphires and set them for you is in Orchard Point.. but then, the place looks like a bomb blew up there since it's under renovation, so i'm not too sure where else...

i like titanium as it will last forever... the one i saw cost US$1,800... it is so expensive because it is aircraft titanium... and so most of that US$1,800 is for the tooling of the rings...

100 facets? Sounds like a boulder rather than a rock. The key to the facets is to make sure that the light that enters into diamond is reflected (or refracted) upwards to the top surface of the diamond. i know i'm very pissed off... some things i am about to do, i end up not doing because it was something i really wanted to do.. and it was going to be all mine.. and by their pressure, something is lost and whatever it is has lost all meaning and value...

i guess, i'm a lucky guy.. i've always been left to make my own decisions since young.. perhaps my parents recognised my stubborn nature.. that if i'm persuaded that it is good, nothing can stop me.. even at pri 6, i was left alone to choose my own sec schs.. even on occasions when my mum raised objections things to do, but she never force a decision on me.. for that i am grateful -
sometimes the pressure is not overt.. which makes it even worse because you cannot address it.. yet it is there, unspoken...
an objection... could be said to be a slight form of pressure...
i've ignored them for the most of my life.. sometimes, i capitulate and i feel like hammered crap about it...
worst of all, some folks know.. and use it to get their way...
psychologically, everyone's different... a shrink once called this a guilt complex... i know i have one...
it gets to this stage where the scars of the past never heal even when i have let them go... i think for myself, i will be all right.. for others around me, like my sister, i'm afraid... she seems to be strong, but i know inside her, she's probably even more messed up than me coz she's soft...
i think about things like that.. how many out there are being scarred by their folks, being driven... when they could get there by themselves in their time

it's a bad thing to abuse ppl's psyche by guilt.. but it's good to have one (guilt), cos it's makes us human.. and at least we still have a thing called conscious
of cos, conscious should be self-searching.. not to be manipulated by someone
i try not to ignore my parents.. i know their intentions are mostly good.. sometimes, we just do not know what is good for ourselves especially when we are emotionally disturbed..
i thank God for great parents.. and i'm saddened by the many children who lack parental love.. i see that in my Boys sometimes.. kids nowadays don't need "quality" time.. quantity is more important, for only from quantity, quality comes.. -
