i remember many years ago (i think 20!) when my enormous extended family decided to celebrate my granny's birthday at a teochew restaurant... the dessert was that..
i ate..
most of my cousins didn't know what it was and refused to touch it (coz, as aforementioned, it looked like cement)

for us as a couple, we were happy.. a happy couple eats together, does stuff together.. a lot...
i don't have much of an appetite these days.. i don't eat much.. only when my body tells me "hungreee" and i eat.. most of the time, it's just shovelling stuff into my mouth... i confess, even the best stuff doesn't taste very good these days...
even the plainest things tasted wonderful when we shared it...
i guess that's for me...
sometimes, i wonder if i'm weird...
appetites, they tell... a lust and love for life!
it tells too for me.. i don't eat much anymore... even sushi.. when she and i ate to excess, doesn't taste as good anymore...
