An officers 11B

  When a recruit is issued 11B during BMT, his status behind the card is written as WOSE. But if he goes to OCS and after commission, the status is changed to officer. So the newly commissioned officer gets a new 11B with the new status?

  but for 2 batches of cadets, they are unlucky because their 11b was changed from a cashcard enabled to a non-cashcard one. haha. some of my friends lost money because of this.

  i didn't knew people even bothered to use their 11b as a cashcard.

  i affirm that i got my 11b changed almost immediately after i commissioned.

  Hi wuming,
  I affirm that I saw my friend's 11B with the sticker too...Maybe they changed already for some reason...He was commissioned in 2001..

  one week b4 i comission, we had to change our 11B. yes it is a one to one exchange. the WOSE is changed to OFFICER.

  they will give you a sticker and you just have to stick over the WOSE word...

  There are some restrictions set on ur card to deny u access to SAF computers....so giving u a new one would subsequently allow u to access the computers, 'cos ur security classification has changed...
