Can I suggest that you post and create 8/9 almost empty posts in a new thread containing only a few words to "park" your posting there before taking your time to slowly edit the posts 1 by 1...
This way, since you've already "reserved" the 8/9 consecutive blocks, you dun need2 worry abt people coming in to post to mess the order of the posting...

G1 Army
Manpowering the Army
G1-Army is the personnel department of the Singapore Army. We manage and equip staff with relevant skills effectively to perform their work well. This also ensures that the human resource deployment both quantitatively and qualitatively optimises and realizes their full potential.
G1-Army manages the wider corporate image of the Army by projecting a realistic and effective picture of its personnel training and fighting. It also checks and manages the staffing and recommends targets and guidelines for Army units to follow. G1-Army formulates directives that ensure effective regimentation is maintained at parades and ceremonies, and that adequate functional discipline is adhered to, for the smooth running of the Army .
Our effective administration of the manpower functions and overseeing the work of the various Personnel Management Centres (PMCs), which are crucial to the operational effectiveness of the Army both in peace and war time. The multiple roles and functions of G1 are carried out through four branches, namely, Operations and Publicity Branch (O & P), Regimentation and Discipline Branch (R & D), Resource and Allocation Branch (R & A) and Personnel Development Branch (PDB). The PMCs are : Army Officers Management Centre (AOMC), Control of Personnel Centre (CPC), and NS Personnel Centre (NSPC). 3 Division
Foremost and Utmost
As Area III Command in 1970 to the first Combined Arms Division in 1991, 3rd Singapore Division (3 Div) has always maintained a reputation for being foremost in all it does. As the Division was the first to adopt new organisational structures, it will be the first in the field to assume duties at the front-line of Singapore's defence. It also indicates its will to set the pace and be the testbed for the SAF to conceive and refine land operations system.
3 Div promises to do its utmost in all its undertakings, to succeed even when success is only remotely possible and to reach beyond all limits. The division is not only capable, but is continually striving towards more challenging realms, to plan, prepare and train to the highest level possible. 3rd Singapore Division was formed as the first Combined Arms Division in the SAF on 21 Mar 1991. This means that the division infantry elements are integrated with the various support arms. Under this arrangement, 3 Div became the Army's principal testbed for the development of new operational concepts, doctrines and tactics for land battles, as well as a ready force to deal with unexpected peacetime contingencies.
When crises strike, 3 Div is always ready to respond to the call of duty helping out with occasions like the Hotel New World Disaster and floods that plagued Singapore in the late 70s.

6 Division
Swift & Deadly
6th Singapore Division (6 Div) is an operationally ready front-line formation. It is a Combined Arms Division comprising active and NS units. 6 Div distinguishes itself in its emphasis on achieving high training standards. Resources and efforts are focused to ensure that servicemen at all levels, in particular our commanders, are receiving the correct training.
As part of the reorganisation of the divisions, 6 Div was reorganised into an integrated operationally ready divisions comprising both active and NS units. The NSmen in 6 Div proved that they can be on par with their active counterparts in fitness, combat skills and tactics, as they now train and operate together with Full-time National Servicemen and regulars as one effective force.
The concept of a Division Family System was also implemented. National Service has now become a continuous process as the soldiers who complete their NSF training may be transferred into an NS Brigade within the same Division. The system not only provides continuity in training, but also promotes a greater sense of identity and esprit de corps within each Division. On 3 Apr 2000, HQ 6 Div moved to its new location in Nee Soon Camp. This move brings HQ 6 Div closer to its sub-units.

9 Division
Forging Ahead
Officially formed on 1 Oct 1978, 9th Singapore Division (9 Div) is no longer solely a 'reservist' Division, but comprises both active soldiers and NSmen. The Division continues to forge ahead to remain a force to be reckoned with. All panthers endeavour to be ahead of all potential foes. Failure to be ahead would mean potential disaster. Our rich heritage in Selarang Camp right under our feet serves as a powerful springboard for the present and future panthers to keep.
On August 17, 9 Division and the Infantry Formation merged to form the new 9 Division/Infantry Formation (9 div/Inf).
Roles of the new 9 Div/Inf
- maintain the combined arms capabilities of 9th Singapore Division
- to ensure effective training of our Infantry forces
- to develop the capability of the Infantry into the future.

People's Defence Forces
The People's Defence Force (PDF), formerly known as the Singapore Volunteer Corps (SVC) was created after the Independence of Singapore. In 1968, PDF was reorganized and merged with HQ SIB to form HQ 1 SIB. The idea to build up a sizable militia was conceived and the ultimate aim was to create a corps of regular personnel, a pool of sizable volunteers as well as trained NSmen.
In 1985, PDF split into 1 PDF and 2 PDF Commands respectively and this was aimed at increasing effectiveness in management and command. 1 PDF is located in Maju Camp and 2 PDF remained at the SVC Headquarters in Beach Road Camp, which was built in 1931, before relocating to Clementi Camp in 2000.
