Questions regarding enlistment

  I'm due to be enlisted next year, 7th of Jan. According to the letter i received, there's no long list of items i have to bring like the ones listed another thread, must I still bring those items?
  
  What happens if u lose ur "summary of medical status letter(issued to u after the pre-enlistment medical examinations)"?

  those items listed are not needed. you can bring them if you want to. The other list of items try to help make your life a little easier in BMT.
  
  Other than that... whatever they provide for you in BMT now, is actually enough. The only extra item i feel that i would bring if i go into BMT again would be clothes hangars.

  thanks for the clarification, but with regards to the clothes hanger, I'd read abt the issue of standardisation, so is it wise to bring it that many? What is the ideal number to bring for enlistment?

  When I was in BMT 2 years ago, there was a part of the cupboard where you are allowed to put your own things. Some people fill it with cup noodles. The items have to be arranged neatly during inspection. It is impossible to have everyone put the same things in the same position there.
  
  Six hangers should be enough. The extras could be put in that part of the cupboard of hung outside the window. The rules/layout of your things depend on your sergeants and might be different from what I experienced.

  I brought the medical status letter during my enlistment but didn't use it.
  
  As for the hanger, it depends on individual coy but I think most will not standardised it.

  Yeah, my time, which is like 1 yr ago, it was called OOC (Out Of Course)
  What's with OOT? Guessing it stands for Out Of training?
