traded. i SPF one, not SAF. got people asking me to sell them STAR patch but i asked for trade. i don't buy/sell stuff one, trade is better. yi wu huan yi wu. there are alot of fake US SOF stuff out there which i can buy if i want....but my cross-arrows are the genuine and authorised ones.Originally posted by palmerised:bought or earned... haha -

Hi guys, i'm really interested in joining the SOF...
But since I'm in the navy as a sailor, I'm afraid I dun have the soldiering exprience as a Soldier in the Army where I will be put to an disadvantage like field camp or something like that...
Btw what i need to do to go for the selection? Look for who? Where to get the form and so on? Since the SOF don't come to my unit... -

Navy and Army has its own special forces recruitment. Army is SOF Navy one is... part of divers. as for experience in land forces is absolutely not required for SOF. just as you are fit enough to get through selection. the operator course will teach you everything. there is even drivers in the past who tried out and wnt in.

someone decribed an SOF recruitment to me once.
they were in this recruitmen theatre in hendon camp.
at the top were a few target boards, no.12 if i'm not wrong. those super small one. all the cdos were sitting around waiting for the recruitment officer to come in. suddenly the lights went out, few seconds later you hear gunfire. then the lights came on. everything over in about 10 seconds.
then 1 of the SOFs took off his headgear and asked "who wants to join SOF?" -
