i got a few questions..
i got Silver for NAPFA... can i sign on as an infantry(i wanna sign as an infantry spec bcos of personal reasons...anywaes..can still go for ranger when in infantry so doesnt matter) specialist?(in the case that CMPB sends me elsewhere)
are there any regulations on personalized SBO?
just simple questions...many thanks for answering them...hope u guys dont flame me cos i wanna sign on.. -

the only way to know for sure is to call up army recruitment center and ask.... u can ask 1001 questions here... but no place better to ask than the recruitment center..

anyway yes, you can still go for the course even if you are an infantry soldier.
personalised sbo? this will really depend on the unit you go to. but more often than not they would not allow radically different equipments, especially non-saf issued types.

wonder if a silver in NAPFA would get me considered.....anywaes...i still think Infantry is one of the best units out there as there are many possibilities...i'd still wanna volunteer for ADF once i am in to broaden my scope and experience so i guess it is exciting enuff... -

a silver in napfa is quite good. at least it means you won't need to go through the PTP phase. in any case, they would ask you to take the ippt if you intend to sign on before you enlist.
yes. with the recent shift in focus to the regular infantry soldier in terms of technological support, weapons and doctrine enhancements, this is one of the best times to join the combat arm! of course, in terms of prestige, the infantryman would not get as much as the guards or commandoes. but i hope that is not what you are looking for.
however, if you intend to sign on to ADF, you need to do so directly. -
