Yup you're right... Once someone in my wing lost an m16 mag. To avoid punishment, he got one at beach road... for 90 bucks. Lots of shady, underground, undertable business over there. In fact we used to wonder if one can assemble a functional weapon from all the spare parts bought there.Originally posted by kY|e-_-o:if u didnt noe... beach rd actually sells small m16 parts like the washer... bolt cam pin, swivel, magazine and stuff that are usually lost... they dont sell the bolt carrier group tho.. heeu juz need to noe where to look and ask..
but the items are of questionable quality. eg. the firing pin that they sell will be unworkable after just firing a few rounds.Originally posted by kY|e-_-o:if u didnt noe... beach rd actually sells small m16 parts like the washer... bolt cam pin, swivel, magazine and stuff that are usually lost... they dont sell the bolt carrier group tho.. heeu juz need to noe where to look and ask..
Heh, but whether that particular weapon part will last is probably the last question in the mind of the guy who has lost it, whose only concern is to cover up the loss..Originally posted by nismoS132:but the items are of questionable quality. eg. the firing pin that they sell will be unworkable after just firing a few rounds.
admitting you lost some items and signing 7 extras is better than 7 years DB.
actually for years I have heard of this rumor also. But thankfully never really lost anything important.Originally posted by kY|e-_-o:if u didnt noe... beach rd actually sells small m16 parts like the washer... bolt cam pin, swivel, magazine and stuff that are usually lost... they dont sell the bolt carrier group tho.. heeu juz need to noe where to look and ask..
I see! So that's why I see so many of the weapons having such funny washers!! -.-'Originally posted by KumSioJui:actually for years I have heard of this rumor also. But thankfully never really lost anything important.
Btw I found that if you somehow loose the washer on the flash supressor you dun need to go to beach road.
Go to your MT line where they park the landrovers. Behind the landrover tailboard there is a small nut with a washer which fits exactly.![]()
hmm.. never knew that my sbo worth so much.. hehehOriginally posted by laurence82:U gotta be kidding..last time i ask the uncle, he said $100 for the whole SBO....lucky i only need the water bottle pouch...
