Agreed. But the RSN no. 3 for officers looks very smart though, peaked caps and black epaulettes.Originally posted by Gordonator:no offences but the RSN no.3 uniform is my least favoutite. don't like the golden ranks and white epaulette for the NCOs.
no. 3 epaulette colours:Originally posted by 01024G:RSN (at least for officers, others I don't know) and RSAF both black epaulette.

no. 3 uniforms must iron untill got the crease.
I remember RSN officer epaulettes are black rite? Or change already ah?Originally posted by wuming78:no. 3 epaulette colours:
Army: green
RSAF: navy blue (not black)
RSN: white
the same applies for specialists and officers. the differences in their no. 3 is only
1. the colour of their belt buckles: silver for specialists, gold for officers
2. rank stripes: gold for officers, different colours for specialists depending on service (green for army, navy blue for rsaf, gold for rsn)
it never changed. it has always been white.Originally posted by cornyfish2000:I remember RSN officer epaulettes are black rite? Or change already ah?
