Which kind of NSF are eligible for JCC?

Are only Infantry OCTs eligible for the course? how do they select them for the course?
do NSF specialists and NCOs have any chance at all to be selected for the course? -

as for the other NSFs, priority is not given to them, so more often than not, they will not get to go. this is especially true since their NSF duration has been shortened.
anyway ANYONE can go for JCC, as long as he/she obtains a silver for IPPT. -

Most of the CDOs and Guards trainees go JCC mah...

Of course, it's possible for cadets to go through the training, but YET not attain the badge due to mitigating factors such as pts, injury, etc.
So going through the Brunei thing is for experience. To successfully complete it earns you the JCC Badge

i really find it strange cos the PCs in tekong seldom have JCC badge on them. or at least in my company. even my OC don't have one. maybe they didn't sew it on, i don't know.
so just to check with u all. during your BMT, do your PC wear a JCC badge? -

But just a side-note: Usu the better cadets (usu those who performed well, like complete JCC etc) get to go to the units -

Okay, I'm not infantry trained per say, but for my batch of friends who did JCC, there was a 50% pass...In fact, they changed the format of JCC recently, to reduce the JCC passing rate. And it was quite low since it was introduced *what* 3 years ago?

But guess with my current post, I'm taking on 2 different roles, all in one. lolx. Coupled with the fact that there are just so little junior officers in the unit, pretty much the work comes down to us. lolx.
Well, regarding the JCC issue, it WAS high, till recent years. Though we would definitely require stats to prove -

The latest 54/03 OCC had a very high percentage of OCTs getting the JCC badge..was highlighted out in one of Commander OCS' monthly speeches..
Think only 1 or 2 didn't get it..think we can wait for Master-_- to give a more concrete proof
hmm..JCC instructors also have the badge(DUH) if they were posted there 
All of my BMT PCs had JCC badges..my OC (who was a JCC instructor) naturally had it.. -

My passing rate for JCC was 88%. Fortunately, i managed to survived it. Killing some quails and eat it
I sewed it on already and now asking my S1 to put me on course for BAC or the next Ranger course.
