Heard of it sia. Famous in OCS. lolx. 'Cos instructors used to tell us about this incident when we are in ST. :lol They were commenting it was pretty stupid alsoOriginally posted by cornyfish2000:Officer decommisioned to 3SG? Formerly a 2LT ah? What crime did he commit?
I heard of a cadet, think in 47/02 who kenna charged then OOCed in pro term cos he got completely boozed out and couldn't be awakened the next day and it happened during Ex. Starlight in ROC... Anyone familiar with the incident?
Yup, personally i haven't seen a cadet who got OOCed because of misfiring...Originally posted by wuming78:wow..
i passed my soc only during the last test during ST2. was it a torture.. i can only blame my poor physical attributes. well.. i really dont mind taking soc, but not as a test!
anyway if im not mistaken, its quite rare for cadets to go OOC for things like misfiring or misplacing weapon. seems like there is some kind of a dearth of cadets nowadays.![]()
Oh no, what a pity... Well i was also one of those who had to keep taking and taking cos i belong to the cannot-run type. Guess i was lucky to have a super on PC who kept screwing me from behind as i did the rundown.Originally posted by CKtalon:I OOCed at the end of ST2 since I couldn't pass the veto factor of SOC(darn that 9 seconds) =\
Anyway, Pro term cadets can OOC when they get their 2nd CROW, or just do not make it in terms of performance(be it SEOC or overall perfomance)
I guess it will be one of the worse thing to accidentally ND a 2nd time during their PAC, and get OOC-ed
Goodness no... otherwise almost everyone will have OOCed alreadyOriginally posted by one-niner:whats the timing for SOC still 7.30 ?
Ya, it was R&R then mah... think there were 4 of them involved. Foxtrot i think. Heard that their Wing Comd was already writing the charge sheets for them while on the plane back to singapore.Originally posted by shoutcast:ones of them is an ang mor in my camp

disappointing...Originally posted by specfore:Talking about decommissioned officers, these cases are quite rare. Only case I read in the Straits Times was in 1990 or so. There was a chap who was charged with rape of a young woman. Happened during his NS time when he was a 2LT. He was found guilty and naturally "de-barred". If I am not mistaken, the ST said that he was a good cadet during OCS and a prize winner of some sort .
serve them right.Originally posted by 12qwaszx:dunno if you guys heard this before
but this is what i heard from my reservist PC about an incident that happened during his batch
he said after the commissioning parade, got a dinner and dance or something like that... then there were these 2 newly com'ed officers who used their swords to engaged in a mock fight...
needless to say, they were decommissioned after that.![]()
