NSFs hav to clear SOC to clr leave n ORD?
Does your unit reserved rights to recall u to do SOC when u r clearing leave?
Once your SOC window is closed, is there a point to do SOC at all?
Anyone can helpz? Pple frm my f**king unit r damn pissed with my f**king CO! So need to noe the above then c wat type of actions we can take against him. URGENT!

in order to ORD, you MUST PASSyour 2nd yr SOC, provided your in a combat vocation
, so therefore, your Unit still can call u back to make u pass your SOC before u can ORD ..simple as that =) -

its the policy for a combatant to clear his ippt and soc before he ords.
and you are not the only one who has to do it. millions were before you. more will come after if the policy stays.
if your problem is with the policy per se, i suggest you approach those who can influence policy making, i.e. your MPs.
if your problem is with how the policy is enforced or implemented, i suggest you contact the relevant authorities through proper chain of command.
if you have doubts that the latter brings you anywhere, you may try calling hotline. -
Come on... its only SOC. Get it over and done with. Short run, short pain!

I think this guy is just pissed cos him and the rest of his ORD cohort have to cancel off/leave plans after being recalled to run the SOC. Prob due to the S1/OC totally forgetting that this has to be done. Don't blame your CO for recalling the lot of you, he is only doing his job. In the same breath, you all have been in the service for close to 2 years at least, don't tell me you didn't know abt the requirements before ORD? i.e. ippt, SOC, ORD Shoot, FFI etc. etc.
Don't fight this too much, come to a compromise and ORD in peace...i don't know the finer details of this, but like i said, someone cocked up don't make it worst! -

but hates to take it as a test, cos have timing to meet, every rundown must run until want to die like that.
