erm...i am not realli sure abt tt...but i onli noe tt there r onli 2 intakes per yr...one in april for jc students and the other one is in sept for poly students...

let me tell u why:
NDU IPPT requirement for 2.4k is 9mins 14sec
this is the requirement for specs..
if one goes for officer course.. he would be a diving officer..
and would fall into the category of officers...
IPPT requirement for officers?? 2.4k is 9mins 45sec
thus a couple of officers in NDU cannot meet 914 timing.. but they have IPPT gold..
so how did they make it to OCS?? i wonder how...... but they are nt respected in anycase..
The Award requirements are determined by vocation and not rank la......
As long as you're a PTI, Diver or Commando, the standard is the same, regardless of rank. -

the overall course duration has been shortened after they amended the nsf term to 2 yrs.
now the course phases:
BMT, Land phase, Physical phase, Dive phase -

hey hellweeker.... thanx for all the info provided... i have know alot more abt divers in NDU...
..yah perhaps i will juz see how it goes..but i am still not tt sure abt the part where u said tt officers in NDU who did not make it for their 2.4 under 914....so they r awarded gold under the normal IPPT standards and not the IPPT standards in NDU lah? -
