Means not able to make any calls then? Is there any chance tat we can ask permission from the instructors to bring cameras? Because i saw pictures of naval diver trainees posted on their blogs...

no phones...wah...like that totally cut off from outside world man...and it is true that the camp has no public fones as well? even thou they gib u a $2 fonecard...i heard it from a fren who has a fren in ndu

No malays? come to think of it..quite true also... tt time i went for trial no malay was spotted...only one singh whose father made a commotion at the mrt station...though not very obvious...but can see that he tryin to pull his son out... how can liddat de...then it wld unfair le wat...

i have no doubt about the maturity level of most of us here who are involved in serious sharing and discussion.
hence there should be no problems with allowing certain sensitive topics to be discussed.
but the truth is there are certain characters in this forum who like to exploit such sensitivities. and we can also never be sure who is reading our posts.
i am not opposing discussing sensitive topics. perhaps they could be done more tactfully. and once again, if there are facts to back certain allegations, please show everyone the facts when making the point. otherwise it would just be a rumour, hearsay, or myth. -

That's sad.What is wrong with allowing trainees to make phone calls during admin time?I see no rationale behind this ban.Sometimes, a little thing goes a long way.No wonder those people I know from NDU often gripe and curse themselves for being enlisted into "Hell".
