eh.can someone share their experience in ns... the checking up session... my fren say that must take off everything n let the doctor check ar.. izzit true?....the very first day wat u did... how's food... curious that is the toilets have no doors ? and so many ppl bath at 1 time? izzit abit weird like tt? can someone share their experience.. pls also add othe important advice or interesting thing tt will happen or happened

just strip down to yr underwear. go in front of the doctor, squat and cough. think tt's a test for hernia or smt. well the food was better than i expected and tt was 2 years ago. i guess now the food should be even better. well bathing in a common toilet might be a little unesy for some but you'll get used to it after a while. It's really no big deal. all guys only. what u have the other person also have.
just go to army with an open mind and try to make the best of everything. very soon time will pass and 2 years is gone.

most of the time after sending arms and last parade at around 8pm. u are free to do your own time, like take shower, eat, talk cock, do extra training if u want etc etc.
lights out timing aka bed time is 2200 or 2230.

and nothing wrong with many people bathing in an open bathing room mah. isn't that what happens in public swimming pools?!
food wise, well, its reasonable lah. dont expect gourmet food, but the standard is average to above average. -

i also live in the west. last time BMT book in take MRT from lakeside to pasir ris, roughly 1.5 hrs only. how u travel until 3 hrs?

Usually when u in command schs or on course, at night might have lessons.....so maybe u last paraded at a later time.
In unit, usually u r free after last parade. Can go watch tv or bath or do anyting.
BMTC (tekong) bathin area got walls but no doors...
